Baker Tilly network member Freeths has been named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious Legal Business Awards 2024, an event that celebrates excellence in the legal profession.
Freeths was recognised by judges for its outstanding organic expansion, with 6 of the firm’s 13 offices achieving annual revenues of more than £10 million.
As one of the fastest-growing legal firms in the UK, Freeths’ 2024 Law Firm of the Year success follows consistent double-digit annual revenue growth since 2015 and marks a year of achievements.
In July 2023, the firm launched its Glasgow office, its first office outside of England. The firm has also had multiple new office moves and refurbishments.
Earlier this year, Freeths became the largest UK law firm to receive B Corporation (B Corp) certification. This certification is awarded to businesses that meet B Corp’s rigorous standards of environmental and social impact, as well as good governance. Freeths’ commitment to transparency, accountability, and performance — across areas such as employee benefits, charitable work, and supply chain practices — was pivotal in this achievement.
In January, the work of National Head of Dispute Resolution, James Hartley, was brought to light after many years in a poignant television documentary which sparked a highly anticipated public inquiry into the UK Post Office scandal.
