Baker Tilly International has been recognised at the Absorb Customer Awards (the Absorbies) for its use of the Absorb learning management system (LMS) to educate, empower and engage its people globally.
The network won the Global Reach Award for its use of the Absorb LMS to power the Baker Tilly Learning Hub, our learning system that disseminates knowledge seamlessly, standardises the learning experiences across our vast network, and opens up access to global learning resources to our 43,000 people worldwide.
The Absorbies are annual awards that celebrate innovation, creative learning, learner-centric approaches and business impact through learning within the Absorb LMS community, showcasing how organisations have leveraged Absorb LMS to educate, empower and engage learners, leading to significant growth and milestones.
Rachel Ward, Director of Customer Lifecycle Marketing at Absorb LMS, said: “Baker Tilly’s ability to set strong goals, report on results, and drive success have truly set them apart, and the judges were incredibly impressed. The network has used Absorb LMS to build a learning hub that transcends geographical limitations, fosters international collaboration and ensures that every person, regardless of their location, can benefit from a consistent, high-quality learning environment.”
Abigail Bruce, Baker Tilly International’s Learning and Development Lead, said: “At Baker Tilly we recognise that success lies in being people-first when it comes to our teams, clients and communities. This is why we invest in our people to provide a clear career pathway built on a culture of continuous learning and development. This not only contributes to individual development, but also means our clients can trust that they are working with the experts they need.
“Our various training programmes ensure we are continuously striving for better and bringing that ambition to our work with clients. Our programmes both enhance specific skills for current roles and bring additional training to progress career paths. The Learning Hub is central to delivering that training across our network and building a more inclusive, knowledgeable and connected global workforce, aligning perfectly with our vision of creating tomorrow's thought leaders.”
Launched in 2022, the Learning Hub now houses over 2,400 pieces of content, comprising e-learning modules, live webinars and recorded sessions.
