Baker Tilly International has been recognised as a leading financial adviser for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in the latest benchmarking league tables published by LSEG (formerly Refinitiv).
The network ranked 13th by deal count for worldwide mid-market M&A transactions, completing 183 transactions with a disclosed transaction value of more than US$587 million.
It ranked in the top 10 globally by deal count for small-cap M&A transactions, completing 180 transactions with a disclosed transaction value of more than US$126 million.
Baker Tilly firms in China, Singapore, Spain, Benelux, and Eastern Europe ranked among the top 10 largest M&A advisers in their respective markets.
Commenting on the league table results, Baker Tilly Head of Corporate Finance Harsh Maheshwari, said: "Throughout the year, and in a volatile market, Baker Tilly acted on deals across a variety of sectors globally. These rankings are a recognition of, and testament to, the dedication and hard work of every individual across our transactions teams worldwide.
“In recent years, the market has been dominated by smaller deals as companies acquire technology and personnel to bypass the costly and riskier process of in-house development. And that’s where Baker Tilly really adds value. Our globally united network unlocks opportunities for growth, and allows us to deliver the expertise and advice that our clients need, when and where they need it.”
