In the latest development that sees Baker Tilly International increase the breadth of legal services that it provides to multinational clients, Baker Tilly in Denmark has welcomed TBG Law to its local Danish network. The firm has commenced trading as Baker Tilly Legal Denmark with immediate effect.
The practice, operating out of Copenhagen and Odense, provides legal advice to companies in the areas of corporate/M&A, finance, business litigation, business contracts and general commercial law issues.
Their joining comes less than a month after the network announced that top 50 UK law firm Freeths has become the first stand-alone legal practice in Europe to join Baker Tilly International as an independent member firm, continuing the global network’s expansion into commercial law.
Speaking on this latest development, Alan Whitman, Baker Tilly’s global Chairman said: “The advantage of being able to offer integrated, multidisciplinary teams is clear. The entrepreneurial clients we work alongside fuel our economies and enrich our communities. By continuing to broaden our service capabilities, the breadth of expertise we bring to every engagement results in better advice, a deeper understanding of our clients and outcomes that position our clients for success now, and tomorrow.“
Thomas Gemmeke, Managing Partner Legal at Baker Tilly in Germany and Chair of the Baker Tilly Legal network said: “I am delighted to welcome TBG Law to our network. An ambitious team with robust growth plans, the team has an extensive local network in which they can find the optimal solution to serve clients’ interests outside the borders and beyond the limitations of a large law firm. Their focus on delivering exceptional and novel solutions to clients’ problems makes them the perfect fit for Baker Tilly.”
Morten Schwensen, Managing Partner of Baker Tilly in Denmark added: “With this expansion, Baker Tilly in Denmark will be able to offer an even broader all-round advice. We look forward to a good and profitable collaboration with a common focus on customers, clients and partners.”
