Baker Tilly appoints new Regional Director for Middle East and Africa

Gagik Gyulbudaghyan has been appointed Regional Director for Baker Tilly’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, effective immediately.  
 
MEA is an important region for the future growth of the Baker Tilly network globally. In his new role, Gagik will work closely with member firms to drive international business growth and develop the network’s services and capabilities across the region. 
 
Gagik has more than 30 years of experience in business advisory, corporate finance and management consulting, having held senior leadership roles at Baker Tilly in Armenia and at other top 10 accountancy firms. With a reputation for successfully driving strategic change, Gagik has a proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue and profit targets in complex and emerging markets.  
 
Commenting on the appointment, Global Strategy Officer Sara Jane Knox said: “I am delighted to welcome Gagik to the role. His extensive experience and proven leadership will be invaluable as we implement the network’s global strategy within MEA and build on the region’s impressive growth.”
